Laura Abplanalp is the Republican and Conservative party endorsed candidate for Supervisor for the Town of Bristol NY. Laura offers the resident of Bristol over 39 years of executive and engineering experience leading complex space, defense, and technology programs with companies like L3Harris, ITT, and Eastman Kodak. She has managed multi-million-dollar projects for NASA and the Department of Defense, led large technical teams, and turned around high-stakes government programs with precision and integrity.
A licensed Professional Engineer, PMP-certified project leader, and Six Sigma Black Belt, Laura also served in Washington, D.C., as a Legislative Assistant to Senator Alan Dixon, shaping policy in defense and small business.
Locally, Laura is a longtime Canandaigua resident, a Yacht Club board member, a STEM mentor, and a proud mother of five. She’s known for her ethical leadership, strategic thinking, and dedication to public service.
